Hiking The Prince Islands – Burgazada (Antigoni)
Discover the relaxed charm of Burgazada, one of the most peaceful Princes’ Islands, on this enjoyable full-day hiking experience. Perfect for nature lovers, couples, and small groups, the trip offers a refreshing escape from the city between April–June and September–December, when the island is especially pleasant for walking.
The day begins with a scenic ferry ride from Istanbul, crossing the Sea of Marmara toward the quiet island landscape. After a short tea or coffee break by the harbor, the walk continues along pine-shaded trails, coastal paths, and scenic viewpoints.
Along the way, you’ll discover beautiful island houses, literary landmarks such as the Sait Faik Abasıyanık House, and panoramic views from Bayrak Hill. The experience combines nature, history, and island culture before returning to Istanbul by ferry in the afternoon, ending a refreshing day away from the busy city.
