• Walk Mindfully: Our route through Tophane and Cihangir is entirely pedestrian-based, reducing our carbon footprint and allowing for a deeper, more respectful connection with the neighborhood.
• Respect the “Living” Neighborhood: Cihangir is a residential area; we keep our groups small and noise levels low to avoid disrupting the daily lives of locals.
• Protect Heritage Sites: Follow all guidelines at Tophane-i Amire to ensure the historic masonry and exhibitions remain preserved for future visitors.

• Public Transportation: The start point is easily reached via the T1 Tram line (Tophane stop). The station is flat and modern, located just across from the Tophane-i Amire entrance.
• Terrain and Elevation: Please be aware that the walk from Tophane to Cihangir involves significant inclines and steep streets, which are characteristic of this hillside district. It may be challenging for those with limited mobility.
• Walking Surface: Expect a mix of paved roads and traditional cobblestones. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
